Plebs follows three desperate young men from the suburbs...。落魄作家事业爱情双失意，他遇到了一名叫艾玛的死神，她可以给他带来声誉和金钱，代价是要结束它的生命，作家面临终极选择：选择现在一无是处的生活还是听从艾玛的生活？。该片以90后的高中生为背景，讲述了平凡女汉子雷雨与校园学霸男神夏仁的一段初恋爱情故事。十七岁的雷雨（summer饰）是一个性格爷们儿且长相平凡的高中生，因为家庭重男轻女的原因，在班级里开起了“小卖部”来实现自己少女时代的每一个细小愿望。因为一次迟到，认识了转校生—夏仁（夏海涛饰）。为了让小伙伴们每天都来照顾自己的“生意”，雷雨同意打赌追求这位学霸男神。在小伙伴们的怂恿下，雷雨展开了一系列夸张的疯狂举动，却屡遭失败。但在这疯狂追求夏仁的过程中，雷雨却逐渐喜欢上了夏仁，从此改变了自己的人生轨迹。。
