七十年代初期,赌、黄、毒乃香港社会三大毒瘤,不法之徒在贪官污史包庇下暗地经营这些勾当.政府遂于一九七四年成立廉政公署,务求肃清贪污.警方对扫毒工作努力不懈,迭破巨案,女毒后郑如燕获悉逃脱,并决散播流言,称已偷渡出境.警方表面停顿侦查,实已布下天罗地网……。Norman, a retired police officer, works as a night security guard in a building. One evening, he surprised Nathalie and Guylain committing a robbery and, after a chase in the building, they manage to escape. Curiously, Nathalie returns to visit Normand a few weeks later asking him for refuge. A special relationship between the two develops and changes the course of their lives....。故事描述，广东十虎之一谭敏（傅声）之侄谭聪，在赌馆当巡场；一夜，十虎的徒弟及后人等四人，在赌场相聚时，旗人佟七（王力）带着前清官之子梁小虎突袭，把谭聪杀死。原由是十虎之黎仁昭（狄龙）、谭敏等，昔日曾把梁父杀死，以助反清义士蔡民义脱险。梁小虎遂决意与师叔佟七、佟八连手，杀死仍在世的十虎及其后人、传人，为父报仇……。
