After a three year stint in prison, the charming but hot-headed Lee Riley returns to Los Angeles to win back the girlfrie...。朝颜、真也、长女亚美、次女里美一家四口人的生活开始了。长大的亚美有时会说一些叛逆的话，让真也有些寂寞，但充满爱的幸福日子仍在继续。就在这时，溺死的尸体被发现。虽然也发现了遗书，被认为是自杀，但解剖发现溺死有几点可疑之处，他杀的可能性浮出水面。另外，相继发现疑似触电死亡的遗体，解剖结果表明两起事件有所关联。拼命搜查的真也，与山仓和森本等重案组的成员一起，逐渐接近前方的大事件。与此同时，亚美说“感觉看到了爷爷”，开始说起不应该在附近的平的不可思议的事情…。
