援藏教师苏雷和妻子林静在藏执教三年将期满返程。林静想找回失学学生并带其看青藏铁路，途中为救落水学生扎西掉进怒江失踪。扎西不信林老师离世踏上寻找路，苏雷带儿子等也踏上寻找扎西之路，最终替妻完成心愿。。1960年，中国登山队向珠峰发起冲刺，完成了世界首次北坡登顶这一不可能的任务。15年后，方五洲和曲松林在气象学家徐缨的帮助下，带领李国梁、杨光等年轻队员再次挑战世界之巅。迎接他们的将是更加严酷的现实，也是生与死的挑战……。The film follows the title character (Jonigkeit) as he navigates his search for a moral center, after an act of compassion upends his life. Looking to authority figures he encounters along the way — including his eventual cellmate, Gene (LaBeouf) — Henry’s journey leads him down a road of manipulation and ethical uncertainty.。
