As his parents' marriage unravels, Tate finds solace in the unlikely friendships of his new next door neighbors: a retired African-American college professor and his transgender daughter, Gossamer.。18年前，新疆伊犁薰衣草园区。少年时期的赫连迟与洛新夏以薰衣草为媒订下婚约，但赫连迟却不知，洛新夏在他离开的那一天意外受伤失忆。18年后，留学归来的赫连迟来到洛新夏所在的萧氏集团分公司任职总经理，本想以惊喜的方式出现在洛新夏面前，但是洛新夏却不再记得赫连迟。赫连迟在洛新夏母亲宋茹那里得到可以帮助洛新夏恢复记忆的康复方案，随后便安排洛新夏在策划部门工作的同时兼职助理，并且无理的要求洛新夏完成《润疆薰衣草》计划书，而这正是赫连迟通过康复方案设计出的恢复计划。。
