一位台湾教授大陆寻根，不幸丢失了女儿。失踪的女孩后来被一位好心的农民李大山（高强 饰）收养，由于李大山家境贫寒，又在事故中变成了残疾，只好让自己的亲生儿子小辉（高磊 饰）辍学，让拣回来的义女李叶（宁丹琳 饰）继续完成学业直至供她上了大学。为此他们父子付出常人难以忍受的艰辛，但李叶上大学后隐约知道了自己的身世，同时陷入了极度的自卑，并和养父渐渐疏远。再加上同学们之间相互攀比盲目追...。Architect Peter Ibbetson is hired by the Duke of Towers to design a building for him. Ibbetson discovers that the Duchess of Towers, Mary, is his now-grown childhood sweetheart. Their love revives, but Peter is sentenced to life in prison for an accidental killing. Mary comes to him in dreams and they are able to live out their romance in a dream world.。
