公元1582年(万历十年)夏天的北京，怪事与奇案叠起。先是大明内库储银不翼而飞，从各地府县运来的大宗税银突然不知去向，国家铸银局的熔银大炉也因无银可铸而被迫停炉；接着便是被送入诏狱的两个江洋大盗神秘越狱，城外一个以做棺材为业的村子在一夜之间被杀戮一空；更可怕的是，一股来路不明的号称“江洋八子”的犯罪集团突然现身大街小巷和王公府邸……。A company of friends rises in the funicular to meet unforgettably New Year's Eve on the top of the mountain. The guys are already anticipating how they will cheerfully slide down to the beat of the chimes and explosions of fireworks. But the adventure turns into a real nightmare, when in the midst of the holiday a flimsy trailer gets stuck over the precipice.。
