A scientist performing illegal stem cell research is trying to find a cure for cancer. After the transfer of shark cells is made into a human test subject, the ill man gets well again and it looks like the treatment was a success. But the experiment goes wrong, and the man transforms into monster: half-shark & half-human. But the scientist knows how to use this to his advantage...。所谓的“虫”，是一种超越了科学解释范畴而存在的邪恶生物。它们专门附身在心怀梦想的少男少女身上，令他们拥有能够使用超能力的特异功能，政府称他们为“附虫者”。当附虫者们为了完成自己的梦想而使用超能力时，便会在社会中制造出许多怪异的景象，引起市民的恐慌。 为了应对附虫者的存在，政府设立了名为“特别保护环境事务局”的机构，该机构负责监视附虫者，以及消灭虫，而身上的虫被消灭后，附虫者则会变为“缺陷者”。讽刺的是，在机构中供职的人们，他们本身亦是附虫者。在不断地和虫战斗的过程中，他们也在一步一步地接近他们的梦想。。夏朝颜和唐瑾川在山里游玩时不慎掉下山崖，在找到唐瑾川的时候，他眼角渗血，浑身伤痕的躺在乱石中，夏朝颜为了救唐瑾川使用秘术，脸上出现可怖的伤疤，地上的唐瑾川慢慢变好，夏朝颜力竭，倒在唐瑾川身边，唐瑾川转醒后，发现遗落的物资只够一个人走出山林~。
