Plebs follows three desperate young men from the suburbs...。海蒂（Noley Thornton 饰）从小就失去了父母沦为孤儿，被姨妈收养过着寄人篱下的生活。当姨妈再也无暇照顾海蒂之时，海蒂决定冰雪皑皑的阿尔卑斯上，投奔住在那里的爷爷（杰森·罗巴兹 Jason Robards 饰）。 海蒂的爷爷是当地著名的怪老头，个性顽固脾气暴躁，独自一人过着离群索居的生活。海蒂的到来给爷爷带来了不少的麻烦，但随着时间的推移，她的热情和善良渐渐感染了爷爷，一老一少之间建立起了温暖而又坚实的亲情。然而，一场意外的发生令海蒂不得不离开爷爷，来到了富家小姐克拉拉（Lexi Randall 饰）家中，做她的玩伴，克拉拉由于生来无法走路而一直过着闷闷不乐的生活，海蒂的到来替她打开了新世界的大门。。
