该剧改编自同名漫画，以舞台剧观剧为生存意义，把舞台剧演员桐生斗真当做自己推的公司职员中条瞳，因斗真的突然引退而大受打击，然而有一天，那位“推”作为上司出现在眼前。。一位老诗人在河畔酒店里住了一段时间，想起了他两个久未联系的儿子。一个被同居男人背叛的年轻女人，也入住了这家酒店。为了寻求支持，她请了一位朋友来陪她。在这个江边旅馆里，人们只是相互凝视，生活于每个人来说都很艰难，这样的日子似乎每天都在不知疲倦地反复。。It's amazing to have finally seen this lost film. Poor Mark Burns died this year without ever having seen the finished film! Why was it lost? It's quite good but I can understand that even if this film had a normal release in cinemas it would not have been a hit. It's too sad and tragic. The performances are great, tho.
