故事围绕一对年近五十的姐弟展开——爱丽丝是演员，路易斯是教师和诗人。他们不再互相交谈，二十多年来一直在躲避对方，但父母的去世将迫使他们走上歧途。。因为没有新作品，星期五大学（曼谷） 音乐俱乐部的预算被削减，还有可能解散，唯一能证明自己的方法就是赢得比赛。为了实现这一点，俱乐部主席 Jump 决定率领所有成员将前往星期五大学的孔敬分部，在暑假期间集中练习他们的音乐技能。途中，他们结识了新朋友，也慢慢收获了爱情。。Young people use music to express their new awareness of life and generational opposition to their parents, as well as to protest the social and political climate in East Germany.
