遭遇童年家庭创伤的双胞胎姐妹长大成人后，姐姐辛颖进入一家大型企业从事文职工作。。公司计划提升一名员工位地区总监，上司张涛借对辛颖不断骚扰。辛颖不胜其扰，也只能默默承受。双胞胎妹妹辛慧得知姐姐在公司的遭遇，便假扮成姐姐辛慧来到公司，乘机色诱张涛。张涛不知道姐妹俩的双胞胎身份，自以为得计，将假扮成姐姐的辛慧带到了自己的别墅。张涛万万没有想到，臆想中的温柔乡，却是一座骷髅冢，而姐妹俩的真实身份和意图也暗藏玄机。这部电影以发生在冲绳阿嘉岛民宿中被饲养的雄犬“白”（Shiro）为原型改编而成。白为了与生活在对岸座间味岛的恋人雌犬“玛丽琳”（Marilyn）相会，勇敢地游过大海。这一感人故事启发了这部作品的创作。原作和剧本由野泽尚撰写。饰演白的主角是真正的白犬，而由于拍摄时真正的玛丽琳已经去世，因此采用了同品种的另一只狗来扮演她的角色。。A strange man comes into a house with only the wife.
