《老娘泪》的剧本源自两个真实案件。一个是四川的交通厅长，犯了受贿罪，他的母亲已经80岁了，她不知道儿子到底犯了什么罪，以为就是欠了钱，就带着孙子去卖花来还儿子欠的钱，让人很感动。还有一个是儿子成了黑社会分子，案发之后跑了，为了逃避法律制裁整容了。母亲花了三年时间走遍全国去找他，终于把儿子找了回来。。本剧讲述了海东省检察院检察官洪亮、郑雅萍等人在复查东平市“万海黑社会性质组织案”过程中发现司法人员在案件中的徇私枉法。他们以举报线索为突破口，彻底打掉了背后的黑恶势力，同时查办司法工作人员的职务犯罪。。The Greenhouse is a magic-realist drama that centres on the eldest child of two women, Beth, who discovers a portal into the past on their family property.
