民国初年，西北大灾，沙陀市赈灾黄金被盗，马思懿奉命追查，却卷入贪嗔痴的仪式性杀人案中。马思懿步步为营，在当地警察、民团、军阀的各方势力中，逐渐接近事件真相，最终追回黄金，用于赈灾。。Nikita lives in the small town of Chegarinsk, which is right on the drug trafficking route from Central Asia to Siberia. Deciding to go to Moscow to build a musical career, Nikita wants to earn extra money. His childhood friend offers to transport a bag of drugs, and during a trip to Krasnoyarsk, Nikita miraculously does not fall into the hands of the police。
