江户时代，在东海道守护古墓鬼冢的老人甚兵卫（左卜全 饰）被黑帮勘藏一家杀害，目睹了凶杀场景的孙女美代（古城门昌美 饰）躲避恶人们的追杀，手持信物前往由井寻找父亲。一路幸得侠客百太郎（本乡功太郎 饰）相助，美代才化险为夷。然黑帮又派出赌徒赛吉（户浦六宏 饰）诱拐美代，又被牧童新太（保積ぺぺ 饰）阻挠，更引出八墓山的妖怪对付追杀者。 美代最终为赛吉虏走，赛吉却在女孩身上发现了一个秘密。而另一方面，百太郎、新太以及善良的妖怪又怎可坐视美代遇险而不管？。We follow the hits and (more often than not) the misses of two hapless, dead-broke contract killers who frankly, are more of a danger to themselves than to anyone else. Each episode sees Fran (Sue Perkins) and Jamie (Mel Giedroyc) try to track down and kill a different target. But every hit turns into a shambles of mistaken identities, mistimed entrances and misfiring weapons. ...。A former pentathlete is captured by an undead countess and her cursed followers. To survive the deadly hunt, she must reactivate her rusty skills in swimming, running, riding, shooting and fencing. Alongside a dubious yet charming fisherman and a grumpy police officer, she forms a reluctant alliance to increase their chances of survival.。
