本剧改编自韩国电影《青年警察》，讲述了警校内智力超群的理论派优等生本间快（中岛），与性格直率、感情用事的行动派一之濑次郎（平野），性格相反的两人运用在警校所学的知识，伤痕累累地合作解决悬案的故事。。A group of students who are participating in a university's summer science camp are drawn into an incredible quagmire of conflicts, ranging from the relatively simple conflict between an engaging and forthright young teacher and his older manipulative colleague, to a contest pitting political correctness against free scientific inquiry.
