Ok, folks, this is my last Ishii upload. Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。1991年，在以色列，一个犹太家庭的一个兄弟去世了，全家人来到死者的家里，在老母亲的带领下举丧7天。每个人都必须遵守犹太教的传统，不准吃肉、所有的镜子都必须遮盖起来、不能离开公用的厅堂……。在封闭的空间里，气氛很快变得非常沉闷。兄弟姐妹加上各自的配偶，日夜被迫互相忍受，抱怨和争吵不久就取代了哀悼，压抑多年的金钱争执、怨恨、尚未愈合的创伤重新浮上台面。本片以幽默和自嘲手法描述一个犹太家庭，今年5月曾在戛纳电影节“国际影评周”单元作为开幕片。。
