惠立女中突发学生自杀案件，警方也已确定是自杀。在另一个学校的几个校报记者他们为了增加校报的关注度向校方申请利用这个亮点来提高知名度，再三劝说下，学校同意他们自己去了解案情，出乎意料的是接二连三的怪异事件让真相开始浮出水面……。Detective Murdoch finds that the man behind a flying machine that crashes in Toronto is none other than his old nemesis, James Pendrick.
