The film is the first in a sort of trilogy of films based of Baron Cohen's characters from Da Ali G Show television show, the second being Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nat...。康平佳跟从老师同学去乡村体验生活，他们无意中结识了乡村 女孩张雪。在张雪的爱心行为影响下，他们被深深的影响。随后他们跟着张雪在乡村做了许多好事，而此时他们也明白了什么是慈善什么是爱。。阿贵是村里戏班子的台柱了，与其搭档银翠整日陶醉在戏中，互相倾慕。外出打工发了财的王大树回乡招工，发现女友银翠与阿贵感情日笃，毅然将银翠带走了。阿贵也因唱倒了嗓子，日渐消沉。但山村里欣欣向荣的情景和年轻人的美满爱情，打动了阿贵的心，在村民热情的帮助下，阿贵重新树立起了生活的信念。。
