倪匡捕捉觀眾明辨是非的心理，編寫成這部江湖恩怨片。鳳飛飛(何莉莉飾)為報姊仇，發現兇手竟為未來夫婿金連白(南宮勳飾)，不知所措。而殺姊夫之兇手蕭豹(翟諾飾)與梁霸(王俠飾)為除後患，與金夫人(林靜飾)聯手對付飛飛，欲滅絕鳳家。飛飛怒不可遏，合父母之力將惡賊擊斃。片中武打明星陣容鼎盛，配合「十二金釵」何莉莉，倍添色彩。。阿民（郑宇成 饰）和焕奎（林昌丁 饰）不打不相识，两人成为了无话不谈的好兄弟。之后，阿民结识了美丽的露美（高小英 饰），和好友泰铢一起，几个年轻人无所事事的打发着看似无穷无尽的时光。 朋友的自杀让露美背负上了沉重的罪恶感就此销声匿迹，而好斗的泰铢则进入了暴力组织犯下罪行锒铛入狱，剩下阿民和焕奎，两人决定开一家快餐店。一切都在按部就班的进行着，就在此时，已经成为黑帮地头蛇的泰铢再度出现在了阿民的面前，与此同时，改头换面的露美也现了身，旧友重逢，在喜悦的背后却有着淡淡的哀愁和陌生。画风急转直下，焕奎入狱，泰铢丧生，悲愤的阿民决定为泰铢报仇。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
