居住在背景的匡家是一个热闹的大家庭，户主老黑（郭柏松 饰）脾气火爆，思想传统，他和妻子桂桂（梁丹妮 饰）几十年来共生养7个女儿，生活别有一番情趣。转眼间，桂桂的六十岁生日临近，三姑娘三朵（海清 饰）张罗着要给妈妈祝寿，为此叫回了嫁在东北的大朵（宫筱轩 饰）和正在部队当兵的孪生妹妹四朵（海清 饰）。然而天有不测风云，四朵在回来的路上救人负伤，最后不治身亡。原本据说是四朵男友的副团级军官董良辰（张嘉译 饰）竟曾和三朵处过对象。匡家其他姐妹也烦恼多多：大朵婚姻不幸；二朵（孙宁 饰）为人刻薄，与家人冲突连连；五朵（刁琳琳 饰）无心工作，一心在家中混日子；六朵（石林 饰）紧抓艺术之梦不放，屡挫屡战；从小送人的七朵（张馨怡 饰）先是身世惹来父母的争吵，后更介入三朵的感情中。 一家人纷争不断，充满了无奈与唏嘘……。A private detective helps a prostitute being assaulted, and notices that she is wearing a very unique ring. She is later found murdered and there is no trace of the ring, which turns out to be part of a cache of jewelry stolen by the Nazis during World War II and smuggled out of France after the wary by an American army colonel. The private eye decides to try to find the ring, ...。
